Satellite razor beam as a Weapon

In school days we used to play with convex lens to burn paper under sun. we have cathode tubes that fire infrared beams in a controlled way, well why not satellite use the same concept for maintaining law and order.

How about a satellite that can focus a controlled energy beam that can harm objects in a controlled manner. This appears to be a very simple to implement. Do we already have it or may be classified? A small google search gives info about destroying satellites but absolutely no info on satellite being used directly as a weapon.

what about boundaries and issues ?

Ocean Pressure - Electricity Generation

Heard at school, how hydro electric dams are constructed, throwing water from great height directly on to turbines to generate power electro-statically.  So the main component is pressure.

Heard 1 atmosphere (ATA) is 14.5 (psi) pounds weight of air per sq inch at sea level. And every 33 ft, pressure increases by 1 ATA. Seems human can bear 3-4 ATA so max 100ft depth wow interesting.

Sounds like water dropped from 1x33 ft height can generate 0.43x33 = 14.19 psi weight.  (not considering amount of water/sec)
Appears reasonable to assume ability to generate large amounts of electricity at mere depths of 80 - 100 ft of water in lakes or oceans.

Not sure how useful this formula is energy = pressure * volume in this scenario

I believe telecom needs to play a much larger role than just dialing services.

Some of the additional market include
a) User can pick a personalized voice message based on individual
b) A person / parents can elect his friends being able to track him based on cell phone
c) Confused if you are not on right route, use this service and an agent can make u feel better by confirming you are on right route
d) I received a voice message from a person i love and like to record or save this message as a file on my system
e) I want to use my cell phone as a key to home or remote for my tv or wireless keyboard for a display device
 
what the hell mind is just evil to think a lot more innovative uses with remote but service providers dont face enough competition, as they dont open these services for 3rd parties. Like i like to have contract for providing this service for their phone users. Open the market this will be more revenue than you can handle.

Computer - Commute - Comfort

Buy up few old computers. Design few courses for elders to teach them. There are two goals to achieve for parents whose children are far away they can communicate with their hitech children. For parents to guide their children properly whose children are in schools. This business model can lead to lot of oppurtunies but if not followed carefully can lead to lot of hardships. If right relationship is built, home assist would become a complete next business.


People commute a lot to reach work place, this is major non convinience almost every day. People travelling for work, for visit to places in town, etc their needs to exist a central place from where they can get help. Initially take help of travel agencies for contract later model can be improved. This is a very high risk model. One immediate would be current rtc busses can be equipped with advanced communication equip, which brings out transperancy in timings, etc.   


Convenience,  comfort, these two words have huge difference between developing and developed countries. I would like to know how to make granite kitchen hard tops, sure this will have huge market, but need for right skill and technology is really important for its success. China has made great progress here but India is still far behind in this area because of illiteracy, poverty etc.
Folding portable chairs are really make a mark. tower fans, couches, mutliple hand tools, electronic stationary, etc these markets are highly outdated and their is lot of room for improvement.

Semantic Web & Cyber ShopperList

Ergonomics is a very creative science. The ultimate goal of this is to provide comfort to its consumer. During my graduate study semantic web was very hot Thesis subject. If there exists semantics to classify consumer goods that is accepted by a well known international standard organization like W3C, then here is a major crack in consumer comfort.

Consumers create a cyber shopping list. Providers provide quotes to the shopping list. End result consumer can save time shopping around instead business that provides service will have to shop for consumers. I think this should be the way it must work.

This is time, cost saving structure to both business and consumer.

S-B-C business model

There are plenty of businesses with B2B, B2C business model. I call or propose this new model as Seller-Business-Consumer (S-B-C) Model. Here both sellers and consumers are customers to the business entity. The business entity is not a simple broker service, but its a full service entity, providing a pre determined set of services to the entities seller and customer. There is no direct initial relationship between seller and consumer model.

We can write a certain volumes of books based on this idea, that needs to be evolved. For now i dont have time to elaborate more on this. Needs more work in future.
